The moment we’ve all been waiting for is officially here—opening weekend is ON at Mountain Creek and we couldn’t be more excited to kick off our 60th Anniversary season with you.

Opening Weekend Hours

We’ll be spinning lifts at Vernon Peak on:

Saturday, December 6: 9:00 AM – 9:00 PM

Sunday, December 7: 9:00 AM – 9:00 PM *

*Season Passholder early access begins Sunday only at 8AM.

This early-season weekend will feature a limited terrain offering, but plenty of opportunities to get your first turns of the year.

Special $60 Lift Tickets – Limited Quantities Available

To celebrate 60 years on the mountain, we’re offering a limited number of $60 lift tickets for both Saturday and Sunday. Grab yours early—they’re expected to go fast.

What Will Be Open?

• Vernon Peak Terrain: Upper Horizon, Lower Horizon, Cab Ride, Sugar & Progression Area
• Terrain Park: A Hike Park located in the Progression Area at the Base – Feature count TBD – Stay tuned to the @mountaincreekparks ig for updates as the crew builds

• Monkey Trails – For all of your pass pick up & shopping needs
• Repair Services – Full service wax & repair services
• Rentals
• Snow Sports School (lessons available)

Please note, that Uphill Access will be suspended to give our Mountain Ops team a chance to work across terrain.

What’s Coming Next

After Sunday, we will pause operations Monday–Thursday to take advantage of a strong snowmaking window. With temps looking prime, our Mountain Ops team is gearing up to push hard across the resort.

We plan to reopen Friday, December 12 at both Vernon Peak & South Peak, with hopes to debut an expanded terrain offering—weather permitting—including a classic Mountain Creek Parks build on South Peak that you’re going to love.
